Our ‘Serotonin Education Series’ will give you the answers to all of your questions!

You will learn how to have beautiful skin, a healthy relationship with food, more energy, be physically fit and be more productive than ever, while remaining in your parasympathetic nervous system - aka your rest and digest state. Our knowledgeable nutritionist Tais, will run the Series to show you how to plan your foods, workouts, social and work activities around your cycle.

You will learn how to bring your body and hormones back to homeostasis. Let's be honest, over your lifetime, hormonal issues will arise for all different reasons - stress, pregnancy, menopause, a night of poor sleep, and even that ‘glass of wine to relax after work’. We want to equip you with the tools and knowledge to heal yourself when you go through these life experiences.

Over a beautiful community morning in Utopia, you will connect with like-minded humans, enrich your brain and satiate your body.

Before coming to the Series you’ll feel overwhelmed with ‘wellness information’ and after you’ll leave with an understanding of your own body.

What is the topic of the Series?

This is the first of a series of seven where you will learn how to have beautiful skin, a healthier relationship with food, more energy, be more productive (yet calm and in control) & be the best version of yourself.

Where will it be?

Utopia Place, Serotonin’s event space, right next door to Serotonin Eatery.

When will it be?

It will be the first Thursday of each month in 2021, with the final on Thursday, December the 2nd. The first workshop will be held on Thursday the 3rd of June from 8:00am until 10:00am.

How will this help you reach your health goals?

You will have a simple 30-day action plan to sync your life with your cycle. You will know exactly which habits to change and be held accountable by Tais and all the amazing women who join the workshop.

What do I wear?

Yoga pants, a cute autumn outfit or anything that makes you feel amazing and beautiful.

What do I bring?

A notebook and a pen or a laptop to make your 30-day action plan. Bring what you normally use to plan your weekly schedules.

How will breakfast and drinks work?

We will have the Mr Yum QR code set up to order as soon as you arrive. We will all take a break at 9am to enjoy breakfast while breaking off into groups led by one of the specialists, Emily or guest speakers.

Serotonin menu is suitable to coeliac and plant-based, so no matter if you’re sugar, gluten or dairy-free, you will find your happy food and drinks.

How do I get there?

You can drive, ride your bike or come by train or tram. We’re located right next to Burnley train station, Swan Street tram, on the Yarra bike path, and just off the Monash freeway with free 4-hour parking out the front.

Our FREE Serotonin Mums, Bubs and Toddlers classes are designed for Mums to bring the kids along and get a good workout at the same time!!!

Serotonin Exercise is expanding and we're very excited to welcome our Pilates Instructor Elise onboard!!

Greet your Thursday mornings with 45min specially designed mum and bubs pilates sessions, you will explore what it is like to start your day in a more self-nourishing and mindful way.

Our Mums, Bubs and Toddlers classes are designed for Mums to bring the kids along and get a good workout at the same time!

Run by our Pilates Instructor Elise, all exercises are specifically designed for what your body needs at your current fitness level. The perfect combination of Strength, Clinical Pilates and Fitness allows you to leave feeling stretched, strengthened and relaxed.

What are the benefits of Pilates and how does it sculpt the body?

Pilates is a complete workout for both the body and mind. It is an exercise system that works on the stabilising muscles to ensure the most optimal posture. There is a keen focus on core (internal stomach muscles and obliques) as well as lengthening the muscles throughout the body. It is performed with and without equipment and is suitable for all ages. You have no idea how much you actually need Pilates until you start.

The health benefits of Pilates include:

improved flexibility

increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal

muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body)

We’re bringing you back into nature where you won't be able to wipe that smile off your face -despite having an increased heart rate ;) Get your endorphins pumping, raise those positive vibrations and increase your weekend productivity by starting your weekend with an hour of movement surrounded by high vibes motivated happies*!

You will leave this session buzzing, smiling and ignited (warning, slight shortness of breath may occur!) After the session, maintain that high vibe with some soulful chats and nourishing food in the Serotonin HQ- the perfect post-workout fuel. Think smoothies, caffeine hits, alternative lattes, juices, home-made mylks… the list goes on!

Needing to treat your taste buds? We have a selection of healthy ‘cheat meals’ like our Positive pancakes that are rich in vitamins and minerals, as well as resistant starch to keep you fuller for longer and smiling from the inside out!

Scared about coming alone? Don't be! The majority arrive alone, but after getting close and sweaty together, we build a strong bond!
